the assault began in the front-pages,
in a pattern followed the world over,
it was a nightmare, blood was everywhere,
some worry that they can expect little
official protection from the authorities

in a cheap rent, rundown neighborhood,
a violent mob attacked in what appeared to be a planned assault,
the motive behind the violence is not immediately clear,
and remains the object of speculation

however, a more complex story is at work

everything is falling into place,
over a glass of champagne in Saint Moritz
this policy of taking and brutally occupying has succeeded

truly horrendous, but to each his own; I'm with
