it's been my life, my career, my sustenance,
i'm an optimist and a lover,
my child has been fed a diet of optimism
ever since he opened his big brown eyes,
i'm supportive of it, i embrace it
its my mirror image,
it is a propensity to anticipation,
to god, to happiness, to bliss,
its insistence on movement,
i’m obsessed with optimism
