$106-million for green leaves and bust,
put such numbers in perspective,
what am i saying?
powerful, painful sting of now

it's not just my plush nihilism,
the significance, the implication,
allegations and allusions,
living through an era of traumatic unemployment,
economic stagnation,
very ugly scenes of political reaction,
i couldn’t get even one hit off it,
this epoch is done in and dog-tired,
these are dark times
