we talk about a sustained contemplation on observation,
perception and translation, all concerning intimacy,
objects, community and politics, abstraction and
representation
there is an underlying approach that we
hope that gives everything we create, a fundamental cohesion,
we trust that, if we consider something carefully enough,
a greater essence or truth might be revealed
without having a prescribed meaning,
we've trusted in this approach from the start,
and we have to find that trust again and again
when we feel affection for each other
really looking and observing is hard,
and you find that you can't do it by following a formula
what connects all these worldly efforts is finding the right balance
between intention and chance, by doing as much as
can be done and knowing when to let go,
allowing fluidity and avoiding anything being forced
