he is, i think, simply curious about the world,
he has got to be two different individuals,
as he is intended to be in two places at once,
he spends time being two personalities in one,

like the Trumpeter Swans, on their annual migrations,
this sounds magical,
but it comes down to,
its a hard reality,
he is the impresario of all this

describing the fear, pleasure
and out-of-control feelings,
screaming participants experienced,
as they speed earthward on his slide,
he has talked about people as thrill seekers,
the effect his influence has on our dispositions,
is immeasurable

we are not only out of our minds and in space,
but out of our bodies, too,
i think, he wants to take us out of ourselves,
re-find some pleasure in the lives
of the two people he loves so much,
that includes bliss, comfort and having fun, too,
does this make him a sap, sucker, weakling,
or just a ventriloquist?
i think it makes him a legend
